Café Poirier was refurnished and re-opened for business in October 2011. Together with a brand new look café, came an all new team too, headed by husband and wife, David and Pauline. Together they share an avid passion for good home cooked food that is created from local and seasonal quality produce; this is shown in abundance on the extensive menu.

What could be nicer, after a long time spent choosing your furniture, than to relax with a cup of coffee or tea? There is an extensive menu of handmade cake, hot or cold snacks and sandwiches all freshly made to order.

Café Poirier had a relaxed atmosphere, gentle café buzz and an excellent choice of food that made us want to stay all day. Oh and the coffee is very, very good. Yummy food together with great service make for a winning recipe at Café Poirier. We can highly recommend the homemade cakes and cheese scones too! Ms Higgleton
